About Chelsea

Chelsea Lutz is a director and writer based out of Los Angeles, California. She is an exciting, young, female filmmaker with a penchant for dark, profound, idiosyncratic character-driven stories and a love for stylized cinematography. Means TV licensed her sci-fi comedy short film, Margaret and the Journey to Undiscovered Worlds. That will be streaming in 2024. Ethea Entertainment was attached to produced a horror feature she wrote based off her short film, The Last Night I Saw You. This short film was a finalist at Renegade Film Festival in 2022. Her psychological horror feature screenplay, The Burgeoning Death, was an official selection winner at FilmQuest Film Festival and Les Femmes Underground Film Festival. It is also an award winner at The International Horror Hotel Film Festival and was a semi-finalist in the Women in Horror Film Festival and the SF Indie Fest Screenplay Competition. Chelsea directed episodes two and three of the digital series, Managed, which has been featured in a few festivals including ITV Fest. Her other short films she directed have been featured in a handful of festivals. 

Her music video she directed, Origami, has over 650k views. The music video, Stay, premiered on Under The Radar Magazine. Currently, Chelsea is writing on the Ambie nominated fictional horror podcast, What Happened in Skinner. She is also sending The Last Night I Saw You to festivals, and developing new projects.
